1. "The Great Divide"
- New Information
- Anatomy of the skull.
- Change of foramen magnum.
- The early posterior migration of the condyles.
- The bending of the gonion angle - its effect.
2. "The Mechanism of Growth"
- New Information
- The mechanism of growth.
- The discovery of the mechanism of growth.
3. "Conventional Information Versus Documented Opinion"
- Molars do not intrude from normal muscle force.
- Vertical growth of molar (upper and lower), not the saddle angle, determines the facial angle.
5. "Horizontal Condylar Growth - Its Effect on Facial Growth"
- Posterior horizontal condylar growth causes the chin to move forward the exact amount that it itself grows - mm for mm.
11. "Orthodontics Needs a Consensus Concerning the Best Method of Superimposition"
- Superimposition on SN proved to be superior to all other methods.
- Superimposition on basion divides vertical growth of the face into two components, and thereby causing a 14° difference in trajectory of the chin.
So far this discussion has been largely opinions, even though they are correct opinions - but I could be wrong.
Now we will discuss published articles which are definitely WRONG. We will occasionally present objective evidence to prove they are incorrect. And we will give our opinion as to how wrong? We will use a number to indicate just "how wrong."

In Article 41, Fig. 4, we have compared basing an analysis on the occlusal plane and sella horizontal. On the occlusal plane analysis the nose grew 5 mm more horizontally than when based on sella horizontal and the great divide. This was demonstrated on the same patient.

Analysis of Literature
There were additions of new growth information, never before reported, throughout the entire book. For a certainty there were 87 instances where published articles were incorrect; however the magnitude of the variation was a judgment call. Assuming that the judgment was incorrect, there were still 78 errors contained in the published literature - which was 90% of the total. ARE WE SATISFIED WITH THIS RECORD???
